Universal design is definitely not a new topic of discussion but this article really caught my attention. Chris Downey is a BLIND architect, who not only continues to practice but is also an advocate for emerging technologies and multi sensory information that will revolutionize how the visually impaired navigate unfamiliar spaces. He is also involved in the development of drawing/design tools that allow him to read drawings and sketch ideas.
