X-Design served as the prime consultant for the redesign of both public-facing and secure staff areas, providing interior design, space planning, stakeholder coordination, furniture specification, and community engagement services. The project included the transformation of reception and interview spaces, a children’s zone, kiosks, phone booths, workstations, meeting and training rooms, and a variety of support areas.

Working closely with City of Toronto representatives, IT and security teams, AV vendors, consultants, and contractors, X-Design led project management and coordination throughout the process. Despite pandemic-related challenges, the project was successfully completed between December 2020 and March 2022, delivering a functional, welcoming, and efficient environment within the revised timeline and budget.
