Few are thrilled with the prospect of working late, but this next office eliminates the possibility. Clever employers at Heldergroen raise the workstations along with all computers and work related items up into the ceiling so that the office space can be used for other activities; dancing, band practice or yoga class are all suggested options. I think this idea is successful for several reasons: potential income generated through rentals, lower lease costs are possible if less space is needed, increased employee happiness and morale through live-work balance and added company publicity through innovative office design. If nothing else, give the timelapsed video a watch and have a giggle.
