Riverwalk Retirement Residence

We worked with Verve/DCMS Seniors Living and Campion Group to develop an interior design program for their 12-storey, 141-unit Retirement Residence located in a vibrant neighborhood corridor in Calgary, Alberta. The contemporary nature of this upscale Residence is an extension of the surrounding neighborhood consisting of single family homes, apartments and trendy retail stores and restaurants.

The interior design aesthetic we created, in close consultation with the Owners and architect, is clean and contemporary—targeting upscale clients who are looking to maintain their independent and active lifestyle in a higher end hotel-like environment located in an urban setting.

We developed a colour palette that was inspired by the mountains, bright blue skies and the surrounding ranch country—resulting in a variety of warm and rich colours and textures. Furniture and furnishing styles are informed by mid-century modern influences—the lines are simple, clean and contemporary.
