Blending comfort with functionality, the Staybridge Suites in Port Elgin was thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of both long-term and short-stay guests.

This four-storey, 84-suite property offers a warm, residential atmosphere alongside the convenience of a modern hotel. The design approach focused on creating a relaxed yet refined environment using soft textures, natural finishes, and intentional spatial planning.

Suites include full kitchens and flexible living areas that support a range of guest needs, from extended business travel to family getaways. Public spaces such as the welcoming lobby, communal kitchen, fitness centre, and meeting rooms were designed to encourage both comfort and connection, while maintaining a clean and contemporary aesthetic

Close collaboration with the client led to value-conscious design choices that stayed true to the original vision. The result is a cohesive and inviting hotel experience that reflects both the charm of Port Elgin and the expectations of today’s traveller.
